On this day 10 years ago, I was putting the finishing touches on the first blog posts I was going to publish on this blog. What started with a 12 posts series on RavenDB continued for much longer than I had anticipated. Including this post, I published 580 posts on various topics covering .Net, Python, SQL, and Testing:
A few statistics
The counter for page views currently stands at 2,348,747. The two years 2021 and 2022 brought record values in terms of the number of visitors and page views.
Thus far, 2023 has not been able to match these values. The drop in page views is between 40% and 50%, and it is unclear if it is caused by a bug in JetPack’s statistics tool or if the change in user behaviour due to tools like ChatGPT plays a role.

Here are my 20 most popular blog posts of the last 10 years:
Outlook
Even after reaching the 10-year anniversary, I have no intentions of quitting. My blog queue has currently enough finished posts to cover the next two months. And as far as I can tell, there is no shortage of topics to write about.
There are a few things I plan to change with the blog itself. One of the more noticeable changes will be a new template. I have a few points I want to change, but so far, I have not found a template that checks all the boxes. Another big change will be the use of a CDN to improve the experience for my readers in the US and India.
That should keep things exciting, and I hope you will enjoy many more interesting posts here.
