My personal highlight of 2018 was definitely my talk What Doctors Can Teach Us on Continuous Learning at NDC Oslo. You can find the recording of it on YouTube:
I learned a lot while preparing this talk and I hope I can attend in 2019 again as a speaker. I am working currently on ideas for the call for papers. If you have something interesting to share, you should submit a talk as well.
Between all that learning and working I found time to travel. I started the year in the Normandy and ended it in Antwerp. You can find the pictures I took here:
I am excited what 2019 will bring. I hope it will not only have challenges but brings its fair share of chances and excitements. Happy new year!
